I generally hate people who bang on about playing guitar because it usually means they let it get covered in dust and play it once in a blue moon. And for the last twelve months that has, I'm ashamed to say, been me...

I couldn't be sure at the time but turns out I just needed the break. To step away from the hell that happened at the end of last year. The total burn out of writing, gigging and recording, the endless line-up changes and people really letting me down in soul-destroying ways.

Now I'm back to playing every day for hours, my muscles are screaming at me, I keep being late for shit because of it and boy does it feel good! It's good to be back. This is going to be a creative Winter season, there are songs in my head trying to beat their way out again, watch this space! :D

Nemesis shall rise.

For a variety of unresolvable reasons Nemesis is currently on hold. Indefinitely.

Despite this there will be more music and more gigs one day. Just not today. We thank all our fans for sticking by us and for attending the hundreds of gigs we've played in one guise or another.

Since there are no funds to press CD's at the moment and I've kept you all waiting long enough the new album, entitled 'Against All Odds' Is currently being uploaded for online sale and will be released very soon. Watch this space!

Mastering of the album is now in progress. Really excited by how it's sounding.

Reworked the vocals over the last couple of weeks and finished the serious mixing and its sounding awesome! Just a couple of solos to re-do and then mix-balance the tracks with each other and it'll be ready for mastering.

We're also in the process of booking gigs and tours and there is some really cool stuff happening that we can't talk about yet. Watch this space!

Album mixing is thundering ahead a storm. The takes are all really tight so it's coming together really quickly and brutally. First two tracks are already sounding epic, can't imagine how good they'll be after mastering!

Mixing of the new album begins in the next few days. All the parts are recorded and the rough mixes all sound awesome! Can't wait for you all to hear the tracks, really excited about this release!

Most of you know that the end of 2010 involved a traumatic and unfriendly break with our drummer after a lot of effort and a whole load of nothing recorded or returned. It's taken us a couple of months to recover and get back on out feet and we figured the time is right to quit with the self-pity, just get the hell out there, connect with out fans and make some goddamn noise. Watch this space because the unstoppable machine is on the move again and there's gonna be a LOT of news!

After an extended wait and unexpected line-up changes, I am pleased to announce that album recording is now underway. The groundwork for our first 8 track release has begun and I'll be providing regular progress reports.

The unstoppable Nemesis is moving forward with new ideas that will bring more energy to the music. We also have a very special guest drummer in the wings working hard on all the tracks, despite long distance in preparation to record the new album. We hope to reveal more very soon!

It is with moderate sadness that I must report that Nemesis are now searching for a new drummer. This is not the end. What does not destroy us makes us stronger. Until we meet again - Keep your horns held high.

The track listing of songs to record has been finalised and Nemesis are ready to start recording the album. We're really excited about this release and every song sounds amazing, no fillers and no refuse, just pure heart stopping metal mayhem the whole way!

Nemesis are preparing to enter the studio to record our first full length release. We are currently hard at work on the final new track for the recording and expect the official release date to be early 2011 with promotional copies being made available in December.

We're currently hard at work booking our Autumn / Winter dates, preparing to record another release and also writing riffs and lyrics for the album to follow that release. If you don't see much news it's because we're just that busy we haven't got time for updates!

Last night's gig at Sub61 marked the opening of a new chapter for Nemesis with what was quite possibly our best ever show and definately the most awesome crowd ever. Many thanks to the insane lunatics who were all crowded to the front demanding more and more metal!

In a week's time Nemesis will hit the studio to begin recording our first EP and change the face of metal forever. You have been warned; war is coming!

The Nemesis camp is getting all psyched up to start our first recording after the Sub61 gig next Monday. Can't wait to lay down that metal!

It's all GO! in the Nemesis camp. T-Shirts are here, more gigs are being booked and recording time for our EP has been booked. As if that wasn't enough, this coming Friday (12th March) will see us gig the Giffard in Wolves so don't miss it!

Ben is settling really well into the band and we've got the majority of tracks up to gig standard already. We've made some minor but really cool changes to some of the tunes and can't wait to show off the new stuff to all you guys.

We've also, after much thought, decided to delay recording the album: Yes, you guessed it, we're going to re-record with Ben. It should only take a couple of months to get up to readyness since we're all really on form at the moment from the intense recording, gigging and jamming we've been doing constantly this year. We reckon it'll definitely be worth the wait and you guys are gonna have something very awesome to listen to when it's all done! :)

May we welcome the mighty drumming talents of Ben to the band! AIDA is currently preparing for retirement where she will continue to provide samples and digitized explosions as needed from a quieter, off stage position. In the meantime she will continue to do drum duty for our upcoming live shows while we take our time getting everything up to speed.

You would not believe what it has cost us in time, effort, money and lack of sleep but there are now over 200 burned, labelled and slipsleeved promo CD's to give away! Get yours while they last because once the album is finished we'll never burn these again.

Recording the solos and vocals is proving to be very time consuming but is progressing steadily. Nemesis are also planning on taking a break from it all in two weeks time to play Grand Central on Thursday 9th July.

Okay, so it's all quiet on the gig front since we're recording, as you all well know... As far as recording goes we're doing my (Mandrake's) vocals and solos next. All the core rhythms are down so not long now and it'll be worth the wait: It's sounding truly awesome!!

Despite the most ferocious set of the night that ripped the venue apart and an absolute tsunami of guys and gals giving us total support (You all rock!!) unfortunately the secret judges decided on behalf of the Bloodstock fans that they really didn't want our brand of furious Power-Thrash and instead put through a couple of metalcore type bands. Regardless, we had a great time playing as always and we've got our Bloodstock tickets so we'll see you all their anyway - just drunk and sunburned (hopefully!) instead. Keep it metal!
